Eclectic Analyses From Orthogonal Viewpoints

Slick ‘n’ Slack is a recent entry into the broad field of Web-based Commentary. We plan to discuss everything from the shaky economy to national and local elections, from bad business to bad governmental policies. We may even point out a good thing or two, if we find any.

But most of all, we plan to speak the truth. Uncomfortable truth, truth that challenges the conventional wisdom, factuality that can be verified and that our “leaders” don’t want us to hear about.

You see, we’re tired of being led by the nose by the media and the “pundits” who act like they know it all, but can’t (or won’t) give verifiable facts and sources. We think it’s high time Americans began to think for themselves again. And we believe the Internet is just the vehicle to amplify our message.

Then again, we’re also the kind of guys who believe they’ll have another beer…

We’re twin brothers, separated at birth. So separated we have different mothers, and different birth dates. (Shoot, for the longest time we weren’t sure Slack was a guy, until he found his daddy’s pistol and shot the parakeet, at age three; Slack, not the parakeet!) We love to have fun, we love our country and want to see it do a lot better than it has recently, and we love to talk.
