Have an Enjoyable and Relaxing Turkey Day!
To All SnS Fans, Greetings!
We’ve both been away for a while, but soon we’ll be back with more great posts and discussions on everything from Nobama’s emerging administration to the continued economic woes. We also promise a bit more fun along the way.
In the meantime, we want to wish you and your a very Happy Thanksgiving. It’s our experience that Americans complain quite a bit, often stridently and for much longer than required, but when push comes to shove, they all realize this is still the best Republic on the planet.
So give thanks for what you’ve got, and what you’ll have again soon. In the grand scheme of things, we’re bleeding a bit but we’ll recover.
Of course, there are many folks out there who are not as fortunate as we. Think of them when you sit down to your meal, or during the game, or during any quiet time you get with your family. Visit and give, because we have plenty.
We’ll be back next week with more great posts in the run-up to the Inauguration and the new administration’s Honeymoon Period. Cynical though we may be at times, we really do wish things to come out well; and they will, if we’ll all work on it together…
